Homemade Carrot, Peas, Paneer and Methi Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 gms red gajar (carrots) chopped into big cubes

  • 2 cups peas (frozen)

  • 2 bunch methi leaves

  • 1 cup paneer cubes (frozen)

  • 1 green chilli chopped finely

  • 1/2 tbsp ginger chopped finely

  • 2-3 pinch asafoetida

  • 1 tsp jeera (cumin ) seeds

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp jeera (cumin ) powder

  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tbsp amchur ( mango powder)

  • salt as per taste

  • coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Clean, wash, dry and chop the methi leaves finely. Keep aside.

  2. Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in a pan add asafoetida and cumin seeds when it splutters add the turmeric powder, green chilli and ginger .

  3. Add the chopped carrots and salt. Cover and cook till it is soft.

  4. Add the peas, paneer and all the dry spices leaving out the garam masala and amchur. Saute it for a minute or two on low flame.

  5. Add the chopped methi leaves garam masala and amchur powder .

  6. Cook till completely dry .

  7. Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves .

    Serve this delicious sabzi with chapatis or parathas.
