Homemade Boiled Peanut Salad Recipe

Removing from Shells : 10 minutes

Total Time: 15 -25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanuts with shells or without

  • 1 small chopped onion

  • 1 small deseed chopped tomato

  • 1 chopped green chilli

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tsp chaat masala

  • 1/4 tsp black salt

  • 1/4 tsp roasted jeera / cumin

  • salt as per taste

  • some chopped coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Wash all the peanuts with shells properly. In a pressure cooker take some water add 1 tsp salt then add the shelled peanuts .Close the cooker and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes. Alternatively you can take raw /without shells peanuts and boil them in the same way.

  2. Once the pressure is released open the cooker then drain the water from the peanuts and let it cool. Remove the peanuts from the shells and keep aside for future use.

  3. In a bowl add all the above ingredients and the peanuts. Mix well.

  4. Remove in a serving dish and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.

Enjoy this healthy and yummy salad.
