Homemade Broccoli Cutlet Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 big broccoli- 500 gms

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh grated paneer (cottage cheese)

  • 1 tbsp chopped raisins

  • 1 tbsp chopped chasewnuts

  • 1/2 tbsp chopped green chillies and ginger

  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder

  • 3-4 tbsp cornflour

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Clean, wash, chop the broccoli into florets and then steam it. Squeeze out the extra water from it and then grate.

  2. Add the chopped nuts, chilli, ginger, salt and pepper to the grated paneer and mix well.

  3. Mix the cornflour to the grated broccoli and make balls of equal size. Similarly make small balls of the paneer to stuff it inside the broccoli balls.

  4. Take a broccoli ball and flatten it then place a paneer ball into it and bring all the sides together to form a ball. Repeat the process for the remaining broccoli and paneer.

  5. Heat some oil in a pan or kadai and deep fry all the cutlets one by one on medium to low flame till they are light brown in colour.

Serve these yummy Broccoli Cutlets as a party starter with ketchup or green chutney.
