Homemade Green Long Beans Sabzi Recipe
Ingredients:
500 gms long beans
3 chopped finely onions
1 chopped green chilli
1 tsp chopped ginger
1/2 tbsp chopped curry leaves
1 tsp jeera (cumin ) seeds
1/4 tsp asefodita
1/4 cup grated coconut
salt as per taste
some chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
String the beans from both sides, wash and chop into small pieces.
In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil add the asefodita and jeera when it splutters put the chopped curry leaves , ginger, onions and green chilli.
Cook the onions till it is soft then add half the coconut and saute for a minute or two then add the chopped long beans and salt.
Cover and cook stirring at intervals till the beans are soft but crunchy.
Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves and the remaining coconut.
Serve this tasty sabzi with chapati or paratha.
