Homemade Liquid Dough Masala Paratha Recipe
Ingredients:
4 cups wheat flour
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 tbsp chopped ginger
3-4 chopped green chillies
2 tbsp kasuri methi ( dried fenugreek leaves)
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera (cumin ) powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp asefodita
salt as per taste
oil or ghee
Method :
In a bowl add all the above ingredients and mix well.
Add water little by little and keep mixing so that there are no lumps till you get a flowing consistency batter like dosa batter. Allow it to rest for 20 minutes.
Heat a non stick tawa and pour a ladle full of the batter and spread it evenly . It should not be very thin.
Cook on medium flame for a minute then flip to another side. Again leave it for a minute and then flip it again.
Press the paratha all over with a spoon and it will start to puff up then apply some oil or ghee, flip and cook again on the other side.
Flip and cook 3-4 times till it is cooked on both sides. Remove on a plate.
Repeat the process till all the batter is used up.
Serve this soft and spongy paratha with yogurt and pickle.
