Homemade Oreo Barfi Recipe
Ingredients:
24 oreo vanilla biscuits
3-4 tbsp chopped dry fruits ( almonds,pistachios & cashewnuts)
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1/4 tsp orange food color
3-4 tbsp heavy cream
1/4 cup grated paneer (optional)
1/4 cup grated fresh coconut
Method:
Separate the cream form the biscuits and keep aside.
Take a grinder and grind all the biscuits to make a fine powder.
In a bowl take the biscuit powder and dd the heavy cream little by little to make a soft dough. Keep aside.
Add all the remaining ingredients excluding the poppy seeds in the biscuit cream and mix well to make a dough.
The biscuit dough and cream dough are ready. Make 2 equal balls of each dough.
Place one ball of the biscuit dough on a butter paper and cover it with another butter paper and with the help of a rolling pin roll into a round disc shape.
Remove the butter paper from the top and place one cream dough ball at one end spreading it and roll the biscuit dough tightly over it to make a log.
Repeat the process with the remaining dough also.
In a pan slightly dry roast the poppy seeds . Roll both the biscuit logs on it.
Freeze it for 20-30 minutes.
Remove and cut into thick pieces.
Enjoy this delicious no cook , no oven Oreo barfi.
