Homemade Palak Matar Besan Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients:
2 bunch palak/spinach
2 chopped onions
3 chopped tomatoes
1 cup peas ( frozen/fresh)
4 tbsp besan/gram flour
1 chopped green chilli
1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera/ cumin powder
salt as per taste
Method:
Remove the stalk from the palak then wash properly. Chop the palak and keep aside.
Dry roast the besan on low flame till slightly brown in colour.
Heat 2 tbsp ghee or oil then add the jeera when it splutters add the garlic and saute for a second.Then add the chopped onions and green chilli and cook on low flame stirring occasionally till translucent. To it add the chopped tomatoes. Cover and cook on low flame till drop of oil is seen on the sides.
Add all the spices and salt and give it a stir. Add the chopped palak and green peas. Cover and cook on low flame for a minute.Then add the roasted besan and mix well along with 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook again for a minute or till drops of oil are seen on the top.
Remove in a serving bowl.
Enjoy this yummy sabzi with rice, paratha or chapati.
