Homemade Patra Stem Chutney Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup patra stem ( alu vadi /colcasia stems)

  • 1 pod garlic

  • 1 small green chilli

  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Remove the stem from the patra leaves. Then peel the outside skin similar to the way you peel the drumsticks.

  2. Wash the stems properly. Chop into big pieces and then steam them till it is soft. Let it cool.

  3. Take a grinder jar and add all the above ingredients along with the steamed stems. Grind to a fine paste.

  4. Remove in a bowl.

Enjoy this yummy chutney with patra or pakoras.
