Homemade Sabudana (Sago) Kheer Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter full fat milk

  • 1/2 cup sabudana (sago )

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

  • 4-5 strands of saffron

Method:

  1. Wash the sabudana nicely to remove all the powder from it.

  2. Soak the washed sabudana in half cup water .

  3. Leave it for an hour so that the sabudana soaks in all the water.

  4. In a heavy bottom vessel add the milk, sugar, cardamom and saffron and take a boil.

  5. Add the sabudana and cook on low flame stirring at intervals till the sabudana is soft and cooked.

  6. Remove in a serving bowl.

    Serve this tasty sabudana kheer hot or cold.
