Homemade Chinese Dosa Recipe

Ingredients :

  • I kg dosa batter or store bought batter

  • 2 onions chopped thin & long

  • 1 carrot chopped thin & long

  • 1 green capsicum chopped thin & long

  • 100 gms cabbage chopped thin & long

  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic

  • 1 tbsp white vinegar

  • 4 tbsp soya sauce

  • 8 tbsp homemade szechwan sauce

  • salt as per taste


Method:

  1. Take a pan heat 2 tbsp oil saute the garlic then add the chopped onions and cook on high flame till soft stirring continuously then add the carrots and again cook on high flame. Once the carrots are soft but crunchy add the capsicum and cabbage and again cook on high flame till it is soft but crunchy. Add the soya, vinegar, szechwan sauce and salt. Mix well and remove in a bowl. The dosa stuffing is ready.

  2. Heat a non stick dosa tawa then sprinkle some water and wipe it with a cloth or tissue towel. Pour a ladleful of the batter on it and with a spoon spread the batter in a circular motion to form a thin round dosa.

  3. Drizzle some oil on the dosa and around it and cook on low to medium flame till the dosa is brown and crispy from below. Place some chinese stuffing on one side of the dosa and roll it. Remove in a plate.

  4. Repeat till all the batter is used up.
