Homemade Dahi Papad Ki Sabzi Recipe
Ingredients:
8 small urad dal papad
2 cups curds (yogurt )
1 whole kashmiri chilli
1 tbsp chopped ginger
4-5 chopped green chillies
some chopped corainder leaves
1/2 tsp kalonji ( nigella seeds )
1 tsp jeera ( cumin seeds )
1/2 tsp methi seeds ( fenugreek seeds)
2 tbsp sauf ( fennel seeds )
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp corainder powder
salt as per taste
Method:
Deep fry all the papads or roast it in a microwave for half to one minute. Break each papad into 7-8 pieces.Keep aside.
Mix all the dry spices like turmeric, chilli, corainder and salt in the curds and whisk well.
In a pan heat 2 tbsp ghee add the jeera when it splutters add the kalonji, methi seeds and sauf. Then add the chopped ginger and chillies sauté for a minute. Switch off the gas and then add the curds mixture and mix well then switch on the gas and cook on low flame stirring continuously so that the curds does not curdle. Add one cup water and cook on low flame till oil separates. Add the papad pieces in the gravy. Simmer for a minute or two.
Remove into a serving dish and garnish with coriander leaves.
Enjoy this yummy dahi papad ki sabzi with bajra roti, chapati or plain rice.
