Homemade Healthy Sprout Moong Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups whole moong
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt as per taste
Method:
Wash and soak the whole moong in water for 4-5 hours.
Remove all the water after 4-5 hours. Cover and keep it in a warm place for 12 hours or overnight till it sprouts.
In a pressure cooker heat 1 /2 tbsp oil add the mustard seeds when it splutters add the turmeric powder. Then add the sprouted moong, mix well.
Add the chilli powder, salt and 2 cups of water.
Close the cooker and cook upto 3 whistles.
Open the cooke once the pressure is released and mix well.
Remove in a serving dish . Sprinkle some chopped green chillies, lemon juice and chaat masala.
