Homemade Mango Shrikhand Recipe

Ingredients:
1.5 kgs curds/yogurt
1.5 cups sugar
1.5 cups mango puree ( preferably Alphonso or Kesari )
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp chopped pistachio
1 tbsp chopped almonds
1 tbsp chironji
Method:
Hang the curds in a muslin cloth overnight or for 3-4 hours till all the water comes out.
In a bowl add the hung curds and sugar then with the help of a whisk or spoon keep mixing the curds in one direction only till all the sugar melts and a smooth paste is formed . It will take around 10-15 minutes. Then add the cardamom powder and mango puree and again whisk the mixture for about 5 minutes till soft and fluffy.
Remove in a serving dish.
Garnish with nuts and chironji.
Keep it in the fridge for a 1-2 hours.
