Homemade Sabudana (Sago) Kheer Recipe
Ingredients:
1 liter full fat milk
1/2 cup sabudana (sago )
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
4-5 strands of saffron
Method:
Wash the sabudana nicely to remove all the powder from it.
Soak the washed sabudana in half cup water .
Leave it for an hour so that the sabudana soaks in all the water.
In a heavy bottom vessel add the milk, sugar, cardamom and saffron and take a boil.
Add the sabudana and cook on low flame stirring at intervals till the sabudana is soft and cooked.
Remove in a serving bowl.
Serve this tasty sabudana kheer hot or cold.
