Homemade Schezwan Veg Hakka Noodles Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pkt Chings Hakka noodles
100 gms french beans
100 gms carrots
200 gms coloured capsicums (pepper)
100 gms cabbage
few spring onions for garnishing
1 tbsp chopped celery (optional)
salt as per taste
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp dark soya sauce (optional)
1 tsp white vinegar (optional)
2 tbsp Ching’s Schezwan sauce or homemade schezwan sauce
Method:
Boil some water in a vessel with one tsp salt and one tsp oil then add the noodles and cook till it is semi soft .Drain out all the water from it then put it under running water. Keep it aside for the future use.
Cut all the above vegetables very thinly and long .
Take a heavy based vessel and heat 5 tbsp oil. Add all the vegetables excluding the capsicums, spring onions and cabbage and cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes till it is soft but crunchy.
Then add the cabbage and celery. Cook again for 2-3 minutes on high flame.
Add the salt, pepper powders ,soya, schezwan sauce and vinegar. Give it a good toss then add the boiled noodles and cook for a minute on high flame.
Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with spring onions.
Serve with Veg Fried Rice and Veg Manchurian.
