Homemade Soya Keema Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup soya granules
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt
2 nos onions finely chopped
4 nos tomatoes puree
1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 no green chilli chopped finely
1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp keema masala
1/2 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera /cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
salt as per taste
some chopped corainder leaves
Method:
In a vessel boil some water then add the turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Add the soya granules in the water. Cover and keep it to rest for about 10 minutes. After the rest time drain in a sieve and then squeeze off all the extra water and keep aside.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadai add the jeera when it splutters then saute the garlic and ginger. Add the chopped onions and cook till slightly brown in colour . Add the tomato puree and cook till the gravy thickens and oil is seen on the sides.Add all the dry spices, salt, one cup water and the boiled soya granules. Cover and cook on low flame till all the water dries.
Remove in a serving bowl and then garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
Enjoy this yummy and healthy soya keema with pav, chapati or paratha.
