Homemade Veg Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

For Sauce:

  • 1 big onion chopped finely

  • 8-9 red ripe tomatoes chopped into big cubes

  • 4-5 green / red chilis chopped finely

  • 1/2 tbsp chopped garlic

  • 1 sachet ketchup or 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp chili flakes

  • salt as per taste

  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil or any other cooking oil

For Toppings:

  • 1 red capsicum chopped into cubes

  • 1 yellow capsicum chopped into cubes

  • 1 green capsicum chopped into cubes

  • 1 onion chopped into cubes

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup grated kraft or processed cheese

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • 6 pizza breads

Method:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan add the garlic and saute for a second . Then add all the above ingredients for the sauce. Remove the tomato skin while cooking the sauce as it will come off easily once the tomatoes are soft. Cook till the tomatoes are mushy and well cooked.

  2. Once cooled grind the mixture in a grinder to form a smooth paste .

  3. The pizza sauce is ready.

  4. Take a pizza bread spread some sauce on it evenly. Then add the above chopped vegetables on it cover with both the cheese and sprinkle some oregano.

  5. Bake the pizza in a pre heated oven at 180 C for 10-15 minutes till the pizza crust is brown and crispy.

Enjoy your veg pizza !!! You can also add mushroom, corn, paneer to your pizza toppings.
