Homemade Italian Lasagna Rolls Recipe
Ingredients For White Sauce :
2 tbsp white flour (maida)
2 tbsp butter
4 cups milk
1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 -2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp oregano
salt to taste
Method:
In a pan heat the butter and roast the garlic and maida for 5 minutes on low flame stirring continuously.
Little by little add the milk stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.
Then add all the remaining ingredients and cook for 5-10 minutes till you get a smooth thick sauce. Keep aside for future use.
Ingredients for Lasagna Rolls Filling:
9 nos lasagna sheets
2 cups soya granules
1/2 tbsp garlic chopped
1- 2 green chilies chopped
1 white onion
1 green pepper/capsicum
1 yellow pepper/capsicum
1 orange pepper/capsicum
200 gms tomato puree
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp dried basil
2-3 cups grated mozzarella and cheddar cheese
few olives and jalapeno for toppings
salt as per taste
Method:
Heat some water in a pan with a drop of oil and 1 tsp salt.
Place one lasagna sheet at a time in hot water and cook for 5 minutes. Remove and put it on a greased aluminum foil and cover it with a cloth so that it does not dry. Repeat it for all the sheets .Keep aside for future use.
Take a pan heat 3-4 tbsp of oil add the onions and cook till soft. Then add the tomato puree and all the other spices. Cook till oil leaves the sides. then add all the capsicum and soya granules. Cook for 4-5 minutes and keep aside.
Take a lasagna sheet spread some soya filling on it then sprinkle some cheese and slowly roll it. Repeat the process for all the remaining sheets.
Take a greased baking tray and place all the lasagna rolls one by one on the tray. Pour the white sauce over it and cover it completely with the remaining cheese . Sprinkle some chili flakes and oregano on it and place a few olives and Jalapeno on it.
Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil .
Bake it at 180 C for 15-20 minutes
Serve this mouth watering lasagna rolls with Italian Bread.
