Homemade Moong Dal Chilla Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups moong dal / yellow dal
1 tsp jeera /cumin seeds
5-6 chopped green chillies
2 inch chopped ginger
some coriander leaves
salt as per taste
Method:
Clean, wash and soak the dal for 4 hours.
After the soaking time drain out all the water then put it in a grinder jar along with the chopped green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves and jeera.
Grind into a fine paste by adding very little water. Add the salt and mix the batter till soft and fluffy . The batter should be of dropping consistency. In case water is required it can be added.
Heat a non stick dosa tawa pour a ladle full of the batter on the tawa and spread it evenly to form a medium round shape chilla. Sprinkle a little oil all around the chilla. Cook on medium flame till slightly brown in colour Flip and cook on the other side too.
Repeat the process till all the batter is used up.
Enjoy these healthy chilla with green chutney.
