Homemade Oats Chilla Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup white oats
2 tbsp besan/ gram flour
2 tbsp rawa /semolina
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp jeera/cumin powder
1 tsp chaat masala
2-3 chopped green chillies
1 no chopped onion
1/2 tbsp chopped ginger
some chopped coriander leaves
salt as per taste
oil for cooking
Method:
Take white oats and grind it finely in a grinder jar.
In a bowl add the oats powder, besan, rawa, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, jeera powder and chaat masala. Give it a good mix. Add approximately 2 cups water till you get a dropping consistency batter . Then add the chopped chillies, onion and coriander leaves to the batter and mix well. If the batter is too thick some more water can be added to it.
Heat a non stick tawa and pour 1-2 ladles of the batter on it then slowly spread it to form a small medium thickness chilla. Sprinkle some oil all over it. Cover and cook on low to medium flame till it is brown. Flip and again cook till it is brown on both sides.
Repeat the process till all the batter is used up.
Enjoy these healthy and yummy chillas with ketchup or green chutney.
