Homemade Sindhi Doda Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rice flour

  • 2 small onions chopped finely

  • 2 small tomatoes chopped finely

  • 2 small potatoes chopped finely

  • 3-4 green chillies chopped finely

  • 1/2 tbsp chopped garlic

  • 4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 2 tbps oil

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. In a bowl add all the above ingredients and mix well. Add little water at a time and make a medium soft dough. Do not allow the dough to rest but make the doda immediately otherwise the dough will become very soft and it will be difficult to roll.

  2. Make equal size balls of the dough.

  3. Place a plastic sheet on the rolling board or platform. Grease it with some oil . Place one ball on the plastic sheet and with your fingers spread the dough in a circular direction to give it a round shape.

  4. Heat a tawa and grease it with some oil. Lift the plastic sheet and slowly place the rolled doda on the tawa. Cook it on medium flame then flip and sprinkle some oil all over it then again flip and cook till brown spots are seen all over on both sides.

  5. Remove in a plate .

  6. Repeat the process till all the dough is used up.

    Serve this yummy sindhi doda for breakfast, lunch or dinner with some curds, pickle or chutney.
