Homemade Soya Cutlet Recipe

Homemade Soya Cutlet Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup soya chunks

  • 3 boiled potatoes grated

  • 2 big onions chopped very finely

  • 2-3 green chillies chopped finely

  • 1 tbsp ginger chopped

  • 5-6 garlic pods chopped finely

  • 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves chopped

  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 1/ 2 tbsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tbsp jeera (cumin) powder

  • 1/2 tbsp chaat masala

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Boil the soya for 5-10 minutes. Remove from water and when cooled squeeze the extra water form it.

  2. In a grinder jar grind the boiled soya finely and keep aside.

  3. Take a bowl add the soya and mix all the above ingredients in it.

  4. Pinch a small portion of the mixture and roll into round cutlets. Keep the cutlets in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

  5. Heat a non stick pan and grease it with 2-3 tbsp oil. Place the cutlets on it and cook the cutlets on low flame till golden brown on both sides.

    Serve with ketchup or green chutney . Alternatively it can also be put in a bun to make Soya Burger.
