Homemade Sweet and Sour Raw Mango Curry Recipe
Ingredients :
2 big or 500 gms raw or semi ripe mangoes
1/4 tsp asefodita
1 tbsp fennel seeds ( sauf ) roughly grinded
1 tsp nigella seeds ( Kalonji )
1 tsp fenugreek seeds ( methi seeds )
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp jaggery
salt as per taste
some chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
Wash and peel the mangoes and chop them roughly , keep the seeds also.
In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil add the asefodita ,fenugreek, nigella and fennel seeds, saute on low flame for a few seconds then add the turmeric and chopped mangoes. Cook on low flame stirring at intervals then add the chilli powder and salt along with 2 cups water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes then add the jaggery and cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove from flame and pour in a serving bowl. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
Serve this yummy sweet and sour mango curry with rice, chapati or paratha.
