Homemdae Quinoa BroccoliTikki Recipe

Cuisine: Indian

Servings: 12 nos

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time : 25 minutes

Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 250 gms Broccoli

  • 125 gms paneer fresh

  • 1/2 cup quinoa

  • 4-5 green chillies finely chopped

  • 1 tsp ginger finely chopped

  • 4 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped

  • 1/2 juice of lemon

  • 2 tsp pepper powder

  • salt as per taste

  • ghee/oil for shallow frying

Method:

  1. Clean and wash the quinoa properly. In a vessel boil 1.5 to 2 cups water then add the washed quinoa. Cover and cook on low flame till it is soft and the water dries completely. Remove the cover and allow it to cool.

  2. Cut the broccoli into small pieces then wash them . In a chopper add the broccoli and chop into small pieces. Alternatively the broccoli can be cut finely.

  3. Grate the paneer. Keep aside for future use.

  4. In a bowl add the chopped broccoli, grated paneer, boiled quinoa, salt, pepper, lemon juice, green chillies, coriander leaves and ginger. Mix well to form a soft dough.

  5. Pinch a little dough and shape into round tikki.

  6. Heat some ghee/oil in a non stick pan then place the tikki one by one in the pan. Shallow fry on low to medium flame on both sides till brown and crispy.

  7. Remove in a plate and repeat the process till all the tikkis are fried.

  8. Serve these healthy tikkis with green chutney or ketchup.
