Homemade Sweet and Sour Chutney
Ingredients:
1/4 cup amchur powder (mango powder)
1/2 cup grated jaggery
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1/4 tsp roasted jeera (cumin ) powder
1/4 tsp black salt
pinch of asafoetida
4 cups water
salt as per taste
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients in water and cook in a pan on low flame for 20-25 minutes stirring at interval till it thickens.
Remove from flame and allow it to cool.
Pour in a glass bottle and store in refrigerator.
This sweet and sour chutney can be stored for about two weeks.
